If In Doubt, Wash Your Hair by Anya Hindmarch (London, Bloomsbury, 2021)

Why you should read it: You don’t have to be a busy, successful entrepreneur with 5 children to glean useful guidance on juggling it all from handbag designer extraordinaire, Anya Hindmarch (though if you are a mom who is the primary wage-earner the stories will really resonate). It is comforting to know that successful people with what are (from the outside) idyllic lives, struggle with ordinary run-of-the-mill day-to-day challenges. Anya’s “compromises” to handling the stuff of life, are delivered up with vulnerability, humor and yes, delightfully creative solutions.
