The community encompasses a diverse mix of female founders, women working at startups, and other female creators, change-makers, and influencers.Me: Why are you an entrepreneur?Amrita: I think entrepreneurship is the most challenging, yet most satisfying way to do what you are passionate about and (hopefully) make a difference at the same time. That is exactly what I am trying to do.Me: What problem would you like solved?Amrita: I believe that luxury fashion should be more accessible to the consumers. Through Date My Wardrobe, we want to give consumers the option to rent directly from fashion designers in any city.Me: Advice you’d wished you’d had or had followed?Amrita: People focus a lot on learning how to code and on building the product. Not too many people share that in addition, you need someone to sell what you are building (unless you are an excellent programmer and a salesperson).Me: What does success look like for you?Amrita: When people recognize your sincere efforts towards a common cause or a goal.Me: Who are your heroes?Amrita: Sheryl Sandberg, Brian Chesky, Serena WilliamsMe: What is your best discovery?Amrita: I discovered my passion for startups by launching one.
